If you know us well, you know that every June we enjoy the Lavender Experience at Finca Las Coronas: a month of incredible sunsets, intense colors, intoxicating aromas, and sensations that our visitors carry engraved in their senses.
But did you know the experience doesn’t end there?
That’s right, after manually harvesting the flowers in early July, we create with their essence, through a careful steam distillation process, excellent pure essential lavender oil, lavender hydrosol, and lavender flower sachets, which allow us to enjoy their aroma and therapeutic properties throughout the year.

Our Lavandin Grosso essential oil is 100% pure, organic, and natural, obtained by steam distillation of the Lavándula Hybrida plant, a species resulting from the cross between lavender and spike lavender. It is a perennial shrub, suited to dry climates, with intensely blue flowers grouped in very aromatic spikes, harvested between July and August, offering a high yield of essential oil.
Its benefits and properties are similar to those of lavender, although its aroma is longer-lasting and more penetrating. Like lavender, it is non-toxic, non-irritating, and non-allergenic, though it should not be used on burns.
Its packaging in cobalt blue glass bottles preserves its properties to the fullest.
Why use our lavandin essential oil? The uses and benefits are numerous; here are some of them:
- Acts as an analgesic and anti-inflammatory.
- Is a great antiseptic, healing agent, antibacterial, fungicide, and disinfectant.
- Has expectorant properties.
- Used to induce relaxation, reduce nervousness, combat insomnia, and uplift mood during depressive episodes.

How can you use our lavandin essential oil?
- In a diffuser to scent or purify your home, add between 6-10 drops.
- Used as an infusion, decoction, tincture, ointment, or lotion, always following professional guidance.
- Always use diluted in vegetable oil or another suitable medium for skin application; never apply directly to the skin.
Our Lavandin Grosso Hydrosol is 100% pure, organic, and natural, obtained in the same slow steam distillation process of Lavandin flowers. This process separates the oil (essence) from the water or hydrosol, which is rich in aroma and properties due to its direct contact with the flower.
It contains no additives (neither natural nor synthetic), colorants, or synthetic fragrances, nor has it been diluted with water or alcohol, preserving its valuable properties. Its aroma is delicate, soft, and natural.
Why use our Lavandin Grosso Hydrosol? Like the oil, its uses are multiple and interesting. Here are some:

How can you use our lavandin hydrosol?
- Apply with gauze or cotton with gentle touches on the face. Very useful for refreshing compresses around the eyes, always closed.
Use sprayed on the skin as a toner or as an ingredient in homemade cosmetic preparations combined with vegetable or essential oils. - After opening, store in a cool place and use within 6 months. It contains no preservatives, and if used for a long time, refrigeration is recommended.
- Hydrosols are completely harmless cosmetic products with virtually no unwanted effects when applied topically. Their pH is similar to the skin’s, between 5 and 6, making them ideal for all skin types, including the most sensitive, and safe even for babies and pregnant women. They are gentle and respectful to the skin and subtly scented, serving as a cosmetic treatment in themselves by naturally providing the properties of the plant from which they are obtained, usable as lotion or toner for both face and body.

Our lavandin grosso sachets contain pure dried flowers with a long-lasting, fresh, relaxing, and soft natural fragrance. The flowers are handpicked in summer and dried under optimal conditions, resulting in a long-lasting product that our customers greatly appreciate, as it is like keeping the memory of walking through our plantation in a sachet.
