Aloe vera cell regenerator. Regenerate your skin!

One of the many properties of Aloe Vera, and perhaps the most well-known, is its ability to regenerate your skin cells. We all know the typical situation: when you’ve hurt yourself and have a wound; your mother comes, cuts a leaf from the plant she has at home, and applies aloe to heal your wound or a burn. And it works!

What happens when you apply Aloe to your wound?

Aloe contains a component called GLUCOMANNAN (a polysaccharide) and a growth hormone called GIBBERELLIN that interacts with growth receptors in your skin cells. These receptors send the order to repair damaged fibroblast tissue (cells that synthesize the outer part of your skin’s collagen). This increases collagen synthesis (the most abundant component of the skin!) and allows your skin to regenerate 5 times faster.

Aloe simply gives a good boost to what your body would normally do much more slowly.

TO SUMMARIZE

Two main components come into play to heal your wound:

- Glucomannan -> stimulates the receptors of your skin cells, which have the function of repairing injuries.

- Gibberellin -> stimulates cell reproduction.
