Two summer smoothies with aloe vera

At Aloe Vera Las Coronas, we know that aloe vera is essential in summer to soothe dry skin and sunburns, but we want to go further: we can also drink it as juice and… smoothies! Consuming aloe vera is very beneficial for regenerating the skin from within, so we bring you two very refreshing summer smoothies with aloe vera.

Besides the cream, aloe has very powerful regenerative properties to help the skin. We’re talking about aloe vera juice, which in drinkable form helps keep the skin healthy, nourished, and cared for.

Aloe vera smoothies - Las Coronas

We usually turn to creams as plan A to heal everything the sun damages—you know creams are the best of all. But smoothies are no less effective. Their healing properties go beyond, especially in these hot months.

Many people know the benefits of aloe vera by applying it to the skin, but few know that aloe vera juice can also care for your skin when ingested.

So we can’t think of a better way to include it in your diet than in delicious, fresh, and complete smoothies that provide everything your body needs for these months. We have the perfect ingredient you should add to your shopping cart: Aloe Juice.

Below we show you two recipes you can’t miss this summer:

Revitalizing Banana Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 natural yogurt
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • 50 ml aloe vera juice
  • Agave syrup
  • Spirulina powder
  • 1 fresh kale leaf
  • 1 small banana

Preparation
First, pour the natural yogurt, a splash of coconut oil, the aloe juice, the syrup, and two coffee spoonfuls of spirulina powder into the blender. Then add the kale leaves and slice the banana and… enjoy!
This smoothie not only provides hydration thanks to aloe but also gives your body important nutritional value. Even NASA uses it in their special missions as a supplement for astronauts.

Regenerative Aloe and Pomegranate Juice Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 pear
  • 4 strawberries
  • 100 ml aloe and pomegranate juice

Preparation
Cut the pear and strawberries into pieces and pour them into the blender. Add the aloe and pomegranate juice. Blend and it’s ready!

The vitamin C present in strawberries is a great antioxidant for summer days. It helps produce collagen and increases skin radiance. Pomegranate, on the other hand, has revitalizing properties and provides energy.
