Yogurt with Aloe Vera and Walnuts

Dairy is almost essential in a good breakfast for most of us, so we thought it was a great idea to combine it with aloe vera and prepare a very complete breakfast. Shall we start?

Ingredients:

  1. One natural unsweetened yogurt, although you can also use a sweetened or sweetener-added natural yogurt.
  2. A portion of one aloe vera leaf, depending on the amount you want to add.
  3. Natural walnuts to taste
  4. Dark chocolate (optional)

Preparation:
Those of you who have already tried it will know, but for those new to eating aloe vera, you should know it contains a substance called aloin which is very bitter. It is important to remove this bitter substance before preparing our breakfast. To do this, soak the amount of aloe vera pulp (without skin) you want to consume with the yogurt for 24 hours. After this time, drain the aloe vera pulp and it will be ready to eat.

Finally, mix your yogurt in a bowl with the aloe vera cut into easy-to-chew pieces along with the walnuts also in small pieces. Optionally, you can grate a little dark chocolate on top. And it’s ready to enjoy a very healthy and refreshing breakfast!
