Our aloe vera in Africa
At Aloe Vera Las Coronas, we are always willing to collaborate with different NGOs.
We believe and trust so much in our raw material that we decided to share it with those who need it most. Indeed, aloe vera is a plant with endless uses, all extremely beneficial and therefore a perfect donation for those NGOs supporting the African population.

Our social work consists of donating seedlings to these NGOs and training the staff so they can cultivate aloe vera in the various agricultural development projects they plan to carry out. But not only that, we also inform them about how to use the plants once harvested and the necessary guidelines so that, completely independently, they can expand the plantation.

Once harvested, aloe vera has many uses for these people. As food, besides providing the body with many essential vitamins and fighting tartar, it helps strengthen the immune system, preventing many diseases, which is essential in Africa. Additionally, the African population tends to develop some skin diseases due to poor nutrition. However, aloe vera is considered an excellent antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, and healing agent, so it is an ideal complement to apply to the skin and thus solve many health problems of the population.
After transporting the seedlings from Andalusia to Obo, an African capital, we began planting in a space prepared by a group of volunteers.

On February 15, the 40 donated aloe vera seedlings were planted. But it wasn’t all that simple. The first problem that arose was the distance to the water well, which was one kilometer away. The solution was to dig a well right there. In two months, 36 of the 40 seedlings had successfully adapted to the soil and climate, improving every day.

For the upcoming year 2019, aloe vera plants will be able to be harvested and consumed.
