Health Aloe Vera and First-Person Experiences: Purificación Villanueva
In these more than 10 years of Aloe Vera Las Coronas' journey, and through our love and dedication to Aloe in all its varieties, we have met wonderful people who share our passion for this magical plant. We constantly receive testimonials from those who value, experience, and share the health benefits of aloe vera.
Today we want to highlight a specific personal experience, that of Mother Purificación Villanueva, who at 95 years old, after 20 years of using aloe and witnessing its powerful health effects, has wanted to share her experience and recipes with us.
A very valuable testimony that we share with you so you can take good note.
“My name is Purificación Villanueva Urtasun and I live in a village in Navarra. I am 95 years old and I am in very good health. I have known Aloe vera for 20 years and, also with great faith in the nature that God has placed in our hands, I have applied cream for bones and joints. I believe the good health I enjoy is mainly due to Aloe vera.
I also had a brother whom doctors had given up on due to a terminal illness; it is true he was under treatment, but with great trust in Aloe, he lived 4 more years with a very good quality of life. I take Aloe in syrup and ointment form.
ALOE VERA SYRUP
I make the syrup as follows:
- 300 grams of Aloe vera pulp.
- 500 grams of honey.
- Half a glass of liquor with 30 or 40 degrees, for example whisky.
PROCESS
- Wash the Aloe leaves, dry them, peel them, and keep the pulp.
- Pour the Aloe and liquor into a container and blend until everything is liquid.
- Pour into a glass jar and refrigerate.
- Take one tablespoon, a quarter of an hour before breakfast and dinner.
ALOE VERA OINTMENT
I make the ointment as follows:
- 1 kg of Aloe vera.
- 1 liter of extra virgin olive oil.
- 300 grams of virgin wax.
PROCESS
- Chop all the Aloe into small pieces.
- Boil the Aloe and half of the oil for 30 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add the rest of the oil.
- Let it macerate for 3 or 4 hours, stirring occasionally.
- Then blend with a mixer and strain into a bowl through a cloth, squeezing it.
- When all the Aloe is strained, pour it into the pot and add the wax, making sure it does not boil.
- Remove from heat, skim off the foam, and let it rest a bit.
Next, very carefully, pour into jars with a ladle. Take from the top, because reddish sediment usually remains at the bottom that should be avoided from falling into the glass jars.
Important:
- The Aloe must always be poured into the jars hot.
- This ointment is useful for bites, burns, anti-inflammatory purposes, osteoarthritis, herpes, etc.
Currently, and increasingly, many products, creams, soaps, etc., are sold, but natural Aloe will always be better.”
All our love and gratitude to Mother Purificación for her love of Aloe.
